Each year, WASHRM offers two different scholarship opportunities to help individuals attend key statewide events that strengthen their professional development and engagement in the HR community.

HR Day on the Hill Scholarship

About the Event:

WASHRM’s HR Day on the Hill brings HR professionals together to meet with legislators and advocate for smart workplace policies. It’s a unique opportunity to experience the power of HR advocacy in action. Link to DOTH Event Page.

Scholarship Details:

• Number of Awards: 2 recipients annually

• Award Value: Covers the registration cost to attend HR Day on the Hill (estimated value: $150 member/$200 nonmember)

WASHRM Annual Conference Scholarship

 

About the Event:
The WASHRM Annual Conference is the state’s largest HR professional development event, featuring inspiring keynotes, expert-led sessions, and opportunities to connect with HR leaders from across Washington. Link to Annual Conference event page.

 

Scholarship Details:

• Number of Awards: 4 recipients annually

• Award Value: Covers the cost of conference registration (estimated value: $500)

• Travel and hotel accommodations are not included

• Application Deadline: February 13, 2026

• Awards Announced: March 6, 2026

Who Should Apply

• Current HR professionals or students pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field

• Members of a Washington State SHRM chapter or SHRM student chapter
